Like Every Civilized City Of Independent India, Ramnagar Also Had Its Own Hindustan And Pakistan. There Was A Temple Near The Back Of The House. A Worn-Out Record Of Bhajans Would Be Played On The Loudspeaker In The Morning And Evening. The Record Needle Used To Get Stuck In Four Or Five Places. When This Happens, The Sound Of ‘Chuckchachchch’ Or ‘Gagggagg’ Would Keep On Coming From It Until Someone.
